The process begins by checking the submitted material and recording it against your order. Every order stage is tracked, and materials from different families are kept separate.2. Mechanical & Chemical Purification:
Once the material is inspected, it must be subjected to a rigorous mechanical and chemical purification process. Depending on the type of cremation ashes or hair used, this may involve using special tools to remove any contaminants from the material. Purification prepares the material for diamond growth; it does not guarantee a particular color or clarity grade.
3. Carbon Purification Process:
Further processing prepares the extracted carbon for diamond growth.4. High-Pressure High-Temperature Crystallization:
During HPHT growth, prepared carbon is placed in a growth cell under high pressure and temperature. Carbon crystallizes onto a diamond seed. Saint Diamonds’ complete creation process usually takes 4–6 months from receipt of your materials; this includes preparation and finishing, not only time in the press.5. Diamond Polishing:
The grown diamond is cut and polished to create its shape and facets. Polishing does not remove all internal inclusions.6. Certificate and Independent Grading:
Every Saint Diamonds diamond comes with a Saint Diamonds certificate. Independent IGI grading and a personal inscription are included from 1 ct; IGI grading is available as an optional extra below 1 ct. GIA grading is available on request.
