‘My husband, Anthony, had a condition called Marfan syndrome. Doctors told his parents he would not live past the age of 10. I met Anthony when he was 23. We met by chance, on the corner of a street and hit it right off. We spent 18 wonderful years together and were married for 10 of those years. Anthony will always be my best friend. We have been through it all together. He passed away on January 4th at the age of 41…much longer than doctors ever anticipated. I am thankful every day that I was able to spend those 18 years with him. I wish I could have had 18 more…and that is why I decided to create a diamond, especially being able to create it in his favorite color, black. It will give me a sense of him always being with me.’
